I am SO excited to invite you to join me for an immersion in to yoga and nature, held Friday through Sunday, June 5th-7th at the peaceful Valaterra Retreat Center in LaGrange, KY. We will be well fed and restored by breath, yoga, nature, healthy nourishing foods, and one another. We will notice our growing edges and explore our relationships with self, the elements, and our yoga. We will discover effective strategies to make it easier to create an evolving and personalized daily practice to take back home. ~Lauren Faye Higdon, LMT, CYTLet's learn to bravely recognize the stories and blocks that may hold us back from experiencing daily connection, presence, and freedom.
I don't have enough time. I might be too loud or sound weird. I'm not flexible enough. I'm not strong enough. I don't have a "good space" to practice. I don't know how.
Let's meet ourselves and one another where we are. We can choose to heal, learn, and grow together.
We will have plenty of opportunities to rest, experience our natural rhythms, make meaningful connections, and develop a renewed sense of awareness, purpose, and motivation.
This eco-conscious retreat space and surrounding nature will allow our nervous systems to decompress and reset. We will explore the elements of water, fire, earth, and air and how they relate to our inner selves, our yoga practice, and one another.
Three of the greatest benefits of a regular yoga practice are increased flexiblity, balance, and strength, these aspects are represented through the elements of our natural world. Understanding and working with these elements and our life force energy will help us better navigate these changing times.
We will refine our skills to sustain a sense of peace, awareness, and confidence in maintaining our yoga at home, wherever that may be. <3
